Rainer is the latest addition to the Unico Executive responsible for our Customer stream, adding over 25 years of experience and business acumen to every client. Blending in-depth knowledge of sales process with a creative communications approach, Rainer has a reputation for professionalism, developing highly effective solutions, tangible business outcomes and long lasting customer relationships.
Prior to joining Unico, Rainer held a National Sales Management role with Motorola Australia and spent the previous decade heading the Cubic Consulting sales team focussed on providing change management, learning and performance solutions to a ‘who’s who’ of blue chip organisations. This exposure to a myriad of change and transformation programs with companies such as Australia Post, Bluescope Steel, BHP Billiton, Amcor Australasia, Coles Myer and Paperlinx (to name just a few) provides first hand experience and knowledge of the business challenges facing large organisations today. Rainer passionately believes in the inherent value of making employees the greatest advocates of any business.
Rainer has also been exposed to many aspects of technology, ranging from digital marketing, large scale ERP and CRM business applications such as SAP and Oracle, through to systems management software solutions and outsourced application services from his time at Computer Associates and Health Computing Services. Having established his own advertising agency (Vogel Hall Advertising) over 20 years ago following his traineeship at Mayne Nickless, Rainer’s most recent example of creative application is his published children’s book – Hector the Collector.
Outside of work Rainer’s 3 teenage children and wife share his passion for the outdoors and regularly spend time at their bush retreat in eastern Victoria.
